Online Survey

We distributed a 12 question survey through the Informatics mailing list and received 44 responses.

Notable Findings

• Finding study partners is almost as important a motivation as finding friends
• Sophomore’s cite more trouble meeting new people than juniors or seniors
• Of those who cite trouble, top reasons are:
  • Hard to find people with shared interest
  • People tend to stick with existing groups of friends
